It was one of my favorite stories not only because Patrick is blind but also because it was funny and adorable and I loved how independent Patrick was and how much cranky and grumpiness Jake could put up with. I read this book last year so you can read my review of it here. When his mother needs him, guilt makes his choice between family and Patrick difficult, and Jake must realize he’s not alone anymore.
