At this point, Ben decides to take Denali to revisit every place they have been together so they could relive their memories. In the video Denali says: ‘If anyone had tried to take me out of that hospital room I would have bitten their face.” Later in the end, Denali finds himself facing impending death. The story progresses to a time when Ben had cancer and shows how Denali stayed by his side throughout that painful period.
The video begins at the time where Denali first met Ben and continues to tell the tale of them growing up together and having the time of his life with Ben and his hippie friends. In this video, Moon recalls his amazing adventures with Denali, who in fact, is the narrator of the story. This incredible video is really touching and moving, making it a good, tearful watch. After premiering at 5Point Film Festival, Ben’s short film gained so much appreciation and popularity that it received the both the People’s Choice award and Best of Festival, plus, it also got selected for the Telluride Mountainfilm Annual Festival. But, in June of 2004, tragedy struck and Moon was diagnosed with cancer. The duo spent the next few years traveling the country and taking amazing photographs that graced many magazine covers.
His owner, photographer Ben Moon, adopted Denali in 1999. The story is told from the point of view of a dog named Denali. The following video, ‘Denali’, is a very touching story. Dogs feel emotions just like we do however, they will always be by our side through good times and bad.
